Sorry we have been MIA in the blogosphere lately. My capstone class is kicking my butt. Currently my life consists of reading, reading, reading and more reading, followed by some writing. AKA:
Tyson and I have tried to liven up my quite boring life by doing a few fun things...
We went home last weekend for Grandma and Grandpa Lundquists 60th anniversary and Grandpa Lundquist's 80th birthday. We only got a few days off, but we loved going to the ranch in Swan Valley and getting a small vacation away from life. I was able to get a new phone (thanks Ben and Sarah!!) and I feel so fancy.
On our way home on Thursday we heard that a fire had started in Pocatello. As we drove into the valley we could see flames on the mountain and all the damage that had been done. The fire continued to burn for the rest of the night. My thoughts and prayers go out to those that lost their homes. It got so close to my Aunt's house (within 100 yards) and the Murray's were evacuated--but their home was ok. It was definitely a scary thing to be going home to.

This is some of the fire damage right next to my Aunt's house. |
Swan Valley was just as beautiful as ever. We really enjoyed the anniversary/birthday party. And we had a ton of fun spending time with family! Unfortunately I got sick when we were there, so I didn't get to take as many pictures as I wanted, but here's what I got:

I took many naps in the shade right here. So beautiful! |

The beautiful cake that was made for the anniversary. It's of the old ranch/bridge at Swan Valley. |

View of the full moon from where I was sleeping. So beautiful! |

beautiful sunset on the way home |
This week was the 4th. We didn't have any plans, until we got a nice text from Jesse and Bekah to go do something with them. We had a BBQ, played some games, and watched the stadium of fire fireworks from just below the temple. It was a great night spent with some great friends!

My red/white/blue get up. |

Tyson carried our treats. He looked like he was going to his first day of elementary school--hence the cute/goofy picture. |
Last night we decided to do a fun date night to take a break from a stressful week (for me). We decided to go to Jdawgs and go see the new Spiderman movie. I had never been to Jdawgs, so it was a fun new experience for me. It was pretty good and definitely hit the spot. Spiderman was awesome. Andrew Garfield is such a cutie in an awkward sort of way. But he did spiderman so well! I was definitely impressed. The relationship that he has with Emma Stone is seriously the cutest thing in the world. I am obsessed with their relationship. Emma and Andrew forever! Haha. Anyway, we had a lot of fun! We also bought a few movies for a great deal--buy one used get one for a dollar. We found Dragonheart 1 and 2. Gotta love Sean Connery as a dragon.

you guys. I have such a cute husband! :) |
And of course the most important thing...
BATMAN IN 12 DAYS!!!!
