Photo Dump of life lately

Yummy stir fry in our wok we got for our wedding. I think it was the first time we used the wok. Tasted delicious :)
I loved this show on Netflix. It was so funny and I loved the main girl (she is totally beautiful in every way!). I basically watched 3 seasons in a few weeks. Not a good thing when you have to write a 20 page paper. So good. Team Jane and Grayson :)
Working on my capstone paper. It was intense. Not so awesome. But I finished my rough draft (22.5 pages) and got an A- on it. Now just to make some finishing touches before I turn it in hopefully this week!
Tyson and I were taking a walk one evening around our neighborhood and we decided that Mt. Timpanogos (sp?) looked like Mt. Doom from Lord of the Rings. Had to get a picture.
Rootbeer floats for dinner. Taking a page out of my mom's book for hot nights when I don't feel like cooking. It is a completely legitimate meal ;)
Progress on my rough draft paper. Biggest paper I've written yet and I still wasn't even done at the time :)
Tyson and I had a dinner date with Tiffany and Matt and Kimberly and Josh. It was a fun little reunion of some of my best friends from high school. I'm glad that we are still in contact with each other. Love you girls!
Ready for our date night to the Dark Knight Rises midnight showing. So excited! :)
Our midnight showing movie tickets to the Dark Knight Rises. It was so nice having reserved seating. No long lines and no rushing into the theatre to pick good seats.
Waiting to get into the theatre. Tyson playing his favorite game (Risk) on his beloved ipad.
So excited, just about to go into the theatre!
So excited, the show is about to start.
After the movie, this pretty much sums up my feelings. It was so good. I cried. We tried to document this, but the picture turned out super creepy. I decided I would spare you guys, and myself, from that embarrassment. You guys. Definitely go see Batman. It was SOOOOO good! I have now seen it 3 times. I am obsessed, but I feel ok about it. Haha. Oh and do yourself a favor and listen to the magnificent soundtrack courtesy of Mr. Hans Zimmer himself.

Just finished this book. It was so good. The writing was super beautiful... some of the most beautiful words I have ever read. It's about this girl who has terminal cancer. Really emotional and heartfelt. I would definitely recommend it, though I'll warn you there is a bit of bad language in it.
 French toast... success. Yum :)
I was trying to pull off a catwoman look. Don't think it worked exactly, but my hair turned out great. Gotta love steam curlers.
Some of the best rootbeer I've ever had. So good, but pricey.
Currently reading "Ender's Game." Good so far. Did you know they are making it into a movie?
I probably shouldn't have taken a picture in church, but our kids in nursery were so cute today. They are supposed to be using the paper plates as picture frames while they sing "I am a Child of God" (like the girl at the end), but most of them just put it on their heads like a halo and would giggle about it. Super cute. I sure do love our nursery kids. We found out from one of the parents today that their son always talks about us "Brother and sister murray".

Just taking a break from studying to write this....

Sorry we have been MIA in the blogosphere lately. My capstone class is kicking my butt. Currently my life consists of reading, reading, reading and more reading, followed by some writing. AKA:

Tyson and I have tried to liven up my quite boring life by doing a few fun things...

We went home last weekend for Grandma and Grandpa Lundquists 60th anniversary and Grandpa Lundquist's 80th birthday. We only got a few days off, but we loved going to the ranch in Swan Valley and getting a small vacation away from life. I was able to get a new phone (thanks Ben and Sarah!!) and I feel so fancy.

On our way home on Thursday we heard that a fire had started in Pocatello. As we drove into the valley we could see flames on the mountain and all the damage that had been done. The fire continued to burn for the rest of the night. My thoughts and prayers go out to those that lost their homes. It got so close to my Aunt's house (within 100 yards) and the Murray's were evacuated--but their home was ok. It was definitely a scary thing to be going home to.

This is some of the fire damage right next to my Aunt's house.
Swan Valley was just as beautiful as ever. We really enjoyed the anniversary/birthday party. And we had a ton of fun spending time with family! Unfortunately I got sick when we were there, so I didn't get to take as many pictures as I wanted, but here's what I got:
I took many naps in the shade right here. So beautiful!
The beautiful cake that was made for the anniversary. It's of the old ranch/bridge at Swan Valley.

View of the full moon from where I was sleeping. So beautiful!

beautiful sunset on the way home

This week was the 4th. We didn't have any plans, until we got a nice text from Jesse and Bekah to go do something with them. We had a BBQ, played some games, and watched the stadium of fire fireworks from just below the temple. It was a great night spent with some great friends!

My red/white/blue get up.

Tyson carried our treats. He looked like he was going to his first day of elementary school--hence the cute/goofy picture.

Last night we decided to do a fun date night to take a break from a stressful week (for me). We decided to go to Jdawgs and go see the new Spiderman movie. I had never been to Jdawgs, so it was a fun new experience for me. It was pretty good and definitely hit the spot. Spiderman was awesome. Andrew Garfield is such a cutie in an awkward sort of way. But he did spiderman so well! I was definitely impressed. The relationship that he has with Emma Stone is seriously the cutest thing in the world. I am obsessed with their relationship. Emma and Andrew forever! Haha.  Anyway, we had a lot of fun! We also bought a few movies for a great deal--buy one used get one for a dollar. We found Dragonheart 1 and 2. Gotta love Sean Connery as a dragon.

you guys. I have such a cute husband! :)

And of course the most important thing...

BATMAN IN 12 DAYS!!!!
